About The Speaker

Today, he is President of Stand Up to Bullying and teaches best practices as well as realistic strategies that are used in school communities nationwide. He is an expert in bullying, violence prevention, creating healthy relationships, effective communication styles, and discipline of students with special needs.
  • He serves as an authority in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA 2004) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, offering easy to understand seminars to teachers and administrators.
  • Mike is a published author of "How to Stop Bullying and Social Aggression" and is also an experienced grant writer and trained mediator and specializes in best practices that can be used to replace bullying and other misconduct with pro-social actions.
