About The Speaker
Salvatore Caccavale, CPEA has been employed in various Corporate Environmental, Health, Safety and Security leadership roles for Fortune 500 companies such as BASF Corporation, Superior Bulk Logistics, Inc., A.M. Castle and Co. and Air Liquide Advanced Materials for thirty years. Mr. Caccavale is a Certified Professional Environmental, Health and Safety Auditor and former Masters Level Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.
Mr. Caccavale graduated from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey with a B.S. in Business Management. He has served in several executive office positions with the National Safety Council, most notably Vice President of the Business and Industry Division and two terms on the Board of Directors.
Mr. Caccavale has instructed EHS classes for both the Community College of Beaver County in Center Township, Pennsylvania and the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Piscataway, New Jersey. He is a noted speaker and guest columnist for professional publications. Mr. Caccavale serves on the Editorial Review Board of the American Society of Safety Engineers "Professional Safety" and the Advisory Board of National Safety Councils "Safety and Health."
