About The Speaker

George Alukal is a Lean Consultant and Trainer for the last 22 years. He provides professional services to organizations focusing on implementing Lean and Quality initiatives.

  • George Alukal is the co-author of the book "Lean Kaizen: A Simplified Approach to Process Improvement" and author of many articles on Lean, Quality and allied subjects.
  • Mr. Alukal is trained and certified by the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) U.S. Department of Commerce in all elements of Lean manufacturing.
  • He is a speaker and facilitator on Lean including Kaizen. As a member of American Society for Quality's (ASQ) faculty, he has developed and taught courses in Lean Enterprise and on Kaizen.
  • Over the past years, he has helped over 100 companies in several aspects of Lean implementation including: Team building, standardized work, 5S workplace organization & visual workplace, quick changeover, plant layout, cellular, kanban, total productive maintenance, etc.
