About The Speaker
Andrea Stagg joined the State University of New York as Assistant Counsel in November 2010. Prior to joining the office, Andrea was an Attorney Fellow at the Office of Legal Affairs at University of Maryland University College, and, during law school, a law clerk in the Office of the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at The George Washington University.
Andrea is counsel to the SUNY colleges at New Paltz, Oneonta, and Plattsburgh. Her System-wide responsibilities include Title IX compliance, intercollegiate athletics, and sponsored research.
She received her B.A. from Rutgers University and J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, and is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
